About
Cynthia Mentz is a Luxembourgish visual artist working across sculpture, mixed media, and printmaking, with a strong grounding in Craft practices. In a constantly shifting and fast-paced world, her work spotlights what is tangible, and what often tends to go unnoticed. In her current ecofeminist practice she questions where the dismissal and undervaluation of insects and women intersect in our present time. Her visual language is a statement to how feminine aesthetics are still undermined and negatively interpreted.
